Hello! I’m Lauren Hamm, a northern Virginia transplant in the Chicago area. I have a BFA in medical illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a MS in biomedical visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a focus on 3D design and compositing.

In my free time I am reading crime, sci-fi, or dystopian novels; hiking a local trail with my partner; or spending time with my dog, Whit.

I’m currently a full time instructional designer at the Emergency Nurses Association, but I freelance in med ill on the side. Despite my graduate training of 3D media, my preference is to use Photoshop and Illustrator to create 2D works. My contract work includes clients of Body Scientific International, Exactech, Auviva, iACT Responder Bag, and Bodycad.
